{"id":116871,"date":"2025-06-30T15:40:42","date_gmt":"2025-06-30T15:40:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nala.ge\/?p=116871"},"modified":"2025-07-13T15:12:53","modified_gmt":"2025-07-13T15:12:53","slug":"with-the-support-of-the-international-education-center-and-nalag-20-public-servants-will-participate-in-a-professional-development-program-in-greece","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nala.ge\/en\/with-the-support-of-the-international-education-center-and-nalag-20-public-servants-will-participate-in-a-professional-development-program-in-greece\/","title":{"rendered":"With the support of the International Education Center and NALAG, 20 public servants will participate in a professional development program in Greece"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With the backing of the International Education Center (IEC) and the National Association of Local Authorities of Georgia (NALAG), 20 public servants employed in local self-governments will travel to Greece to participate in the international training program \u201cFundamental Issues of EU Studies,\u201d organized by the European Public Law Organization (EPLO).<\/p>\n<p>The participants were selected through a three-stage competition organized by the IEC in collaboration with the EPLO and the European Law and Governance School (ELGS).<\/p>\n<p>The training course will take place from July 7 to 18 in Athens and Legrana, historic centers of European democracy and law. Participants will gain knowledge about the institutional system of the European Union, its legislation, judicial processes, and matters related to Georgia\u2019s European integration. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate from the EPLO.<\/p>\n<p>Today, a meeting with the scholarship recipients was held by the executive directors of NALAG and the IEC, Nino Rukhadze and Nunu Mitskevich, respectively, along with the head of the EPLO\u2019s regional representation, Ioseb Nanobashvili, and NALAG\u2019s deputy executive directors, Tatiana Bokuchava and Lasha Archvadze.<\/p>\n<p>The project organizers congratulated the participants on their success in the competition and wished them well in this new stage of professional development.<\/p>\n<p>During the meeting, the program\u2019s objectives, training modules, and its significance for the development of local self-governments were discussed. It was emphasized that the project contributes to strengthening local governance resources and aligning with European governance standards, particularly in the context of Georgia\u2019s European integration, which remains one of the country\u2019s top priorities.
