Another young professional has joined the team of the National Association of Local Authorities of Georgia.
Mariam Jintcharadze will work as the association’s International Projects Development Manager and will help municipalities find grants for various international projects.
Before joining the Association, Ms. Jintcharadze worked as a Program Associate at Europe Foundationâs Youth Integration Program. From 2021 to 2023, Mariam was involved as a researcher in the Protecting Every Child’s Potential project (PECP), which was implemented jointly by Pure Earth, Clarios Foundation, and UNICEF. Mariam has several years of experience in research and analysis, two years of writing and editing experience at the European Student Think Tank (EST), and a year of data collection and reviewing experience at the Oxford Covid-19 Government Response Tracker project launched by the University of Oxford (OxCGRT).
She holds BA and MA degrees in English Philology and Translation and Intercultural Studies from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and MA degree in International Relations from the University of PĂ©cs.
During her studies, Mariam has been involved in implementing different development projects and interned at the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, and at the Embassy of Georgia to Hungary. While studying at the University of PĂ©cs, Mariam acted as the University Ambassador.
She has undergone various trainings in security, youth development, gender mainstreaming, human rights, climate change, and project monitoring and evaluation.
