Since 2010, the association (NALAG) is a member of the European Council of Regions and Municipalities. The Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR) is the oldest and broadest European association of regional and local governments, and it is the only organization that unites local government associations from 41 European countries. The Council of European Municipalities and Regions is the European section of the world organization “United Cities and Local Government (UCLG)”.
