The European Committee of the Regions (CoR) has started accepting applications for the Young Elected Politicians (YEP) programme.
The programme invites young local and regional leaders to join one of the European Union’s most active political networks.
The YEP programme is intended for politicians aged 18 to 35 who hold an elected mandate at the local or regional level in an EU Member State or an EU candidate country.
Participation in the YEP programme allows young leaders to establish contacts with peer politicians from EU Member States and candidate countries, as well as with CoR members and political groups, exchange best practices on policy issues, and better familiarise themselves with EU legislation and funding opportunities.
Within the framework of the programme, delegates can participate in thematic commission debates and consultations, conferences and seminars, as well as in CoR plenary sessions and major events such as EuroPCom and the European Week of Regions and Cities.
Applications are accepted until 17 April 2026.
