Within the framework of the project “SEEDGUARD: Seed Guardians for Biodiversity, Agrobiodiversity, Ecosystem Services, and Climate Adaptation,” the first study visit took place on November 5-6 in Trabzon, Turkey.
The project is being implemented in Georgia with the co-financing of the European Union under the Black Sea Basin Programme and is carried out by the National Association of Local Authorities of Georgia.
During the study visit, participants explored local approaches to preserving seeds of traditional vegetable varieties and enhancing ecosystem services. Additionally, a meeting of project partners was held, where participants shared their countries’ experiences and discussed the project’s next steps in detail.
