Tbilisi has earned its place among the elite in two categories of fDi Intelligence’s 2024 ranking of European cities of the future.
Once again, the capital of Georgia has captured the attention from one of the world’s largest publications, the Financial Times Group member fDi Intelligence, unveiling its latest report on the “Future Cities and Regions of Europe 2024”.
Tbilisi proudly claims sixth position among Europe’s leading cities in the “cost-effectiveness” category and secures ninth place in the “foreign direct investment strategy” category.
As outlined in the report, Tbilisi shares the stage in the “cost-effectiveness” category with other notable cities such as Ankara, Sofia, Bucharest, Kyiv, Istanbul, Warsaw, Budapest, Prague, and Zagreb.
Joining Tbilisi in the top ten for the “foreign direct investment strategy” category are renowned metropolises including Barcelona, London, Berlin, Dublin, and Madrid, among others.
Of paramount importance, the report’s authors meticulously scrutinized 509 locations across Europe, evaluating them based on six crucial categories: economic potential, human capital and lifestyle, cost-effectiveness, connectivity, favorable business environment, and FDI strategy.
